Birds and Buds Rules



1. Keep it clean, no swearing or talking bad about another member, no rude remarks will be tolerated:, If you have a problem with someone on the forum, or anything else forum related, contact a moderator or administrator. Do not post about it on the board. Failure to follow this rule may lead to warnings and or being permanently banned from Birds and Buds

2.No spam: anyone posting links or ads to anything other that bird related products and services will have their post removed and be permanently banned from Birds and Buds

3. Copyright Material: You agree NOT to post any copyrighted material unless the copyright is owned by you. Birds and Buds is not responsible for any posts that infringe on copyright laws. If a copyright has been broken, you may be held legally responsible.

4. Keep it friendly: We welcome debating at Birds and Buds but please keep it friendy and do not make it personal. Any posts that get out of control will be closed and warning points will be assesed upto and including permanently banned from Birds and Buds.

5. You must be 13 years of age or older to register. If you are under 18 you must show your age in your profile.

6. No adult content of any kind: See rule 5

7. Moderators or administrators noticing anyone breaking the forum rules will edit, lock or delete the post without any explanation: Moderators and administrators have the final say as to the content of this forum. No questions asked

8. Warning system: We use a warning system and moderators and administrators will give warning points. If and when you reach 10 points you will be permanently banned from Birds and Buds. Anytime you receive warning points you will be notified via a message, with a reason the warning points are being awarded. For every thirty days without a warning a point will be removed.

9. RESPECT: Show respect to other members. Treat them how you would like to be treated yourself. Everyone is entitled to voice their opinion, doesn't mean we will all agree, but show respect in your reply and not put them down, or make demeaning comments. Sometimes people can write something that you may find offensive. Before launching into a public condemnation though, please consider that the person may not have intended to cause offence. It is very easy to misinterpret a post on forums. There is absolutely no need to resort to insults. Respect others' views even if you disagree with them. Feel free to contact a moderator or admin with any concerns.

11. Links: We do have a link forum and are happy to post a link to your site. Contact an admin through a pm and we will post your link for you. We do require a reciprocal link be posted on your site. All links will be checked regularly and broken links or links without reciprocation will be removed.

12. Birds and Buds is not responsible for any messages posted. We do not vouch for or warrant the accuracy, completeness or usefulness of any message, and are not responsible for the contents of any message.

The messages express the views of the author of the message, not necessarily the views of this bulletin board. Any user who feels that a posted message is objectionable is encouraged to contact us immediately by email. We have the ability to remove objectionable messages and we will make every effort to do so, within a reasonable time frame, if we determine that removal is necessary.

You agree, through your use of this service, that you will not use this bulletin board to post any material which is knowingly false and/or defamatory, inaccurate, abusive, vulgar, hateful, harassing, obscene, profane, sexually oriented, threatening, invasive of a person's privacy, or otherwise violative of any law.
